Liquid formulations can form a continuous protective layer on mucosal surfaces and conform well to irregular tissue geometries. They are suitable for areas that are difficult to cover with patches and may also serve as a platform for localized application in future developments.

MuCover® Patch
Leveraging multivalent physical and interfacial interactions between polymer segments, the material can stably adhere to mucosal surfaces under high-moisture conditions, forming a continuous protective thin film. These properties enable potential use across a range of oral mucosal–related applications and support its potential as a platform for localized applications.
